Drawing inspiration from Italian architecture while keeping an eye on the future, this collection reinvents classic stones into contemporary beauties with the high-performance capabilities of Dekton®.
Cosentino Group, a global leader in producing and distributing innovative and sustainable surfaces for architecture and design, has unveiled its latest high-performance ultra-compact stone collection – Dekton® Pietra Kode.
Created in collaboration with renowned designer and architect Daniel Germani, Pietra Kode reimagines the timeless beauty of three classic Italian stones – Vicenza, Travertine, and Ceppo di GrĂ©. Each stone is deconstructed and then reconstructed within three Dekton® concrete series, enhancing their properties and possibilities for architecture and design. The rich shades and textures of each color bring contemporary elegance to any design, creating a sensory experience beyond the visual appeal. The carbon-neutral surface of Dekton® allows for unlimited indoor and outdoor applications. Pietra Kode is Germani’s third collection with Cosentino Group, and while his previous collections had an industrial focus, this one draws inspiration from the influence of Vicenza, travertine, and Milan’s iconic Ceppo di GrĂ© stone on Italian architecture over the centuries.
VICENZA KODE SERIES
The classic code of Vicenza stone is reinterpreted in four warm and versatile colors, with neutral earthy tones and a rich design that extends seamlessly to the edges. These colours blend perfectly with cream, wood, and taupe palettes, creating a perfect harmony.
Nebbia
The VK01 Nebbia colour takes inspiration from Grigio Alpi, displaying a fine-grained white creamy base with warm taupe hues.
Avorio
Avorio showcases a light beige shade and a natural finish, drawing inspiration from the Avorio stone’s fossil shells.
Grigio
The grey scheme with warm nuances of Grigio finds its origins in the famous Grigio Alpi, used in the Renaissance architecture of Andrea Palladio. It pairs flawlessly with cream, wood, and taupe colours
Grafite
Grafite blends black and gray with hints of reddish and whitish patches, echoing the texture of fine-grained limestone
TRAVERTINE KODE SERIES
This innovative technology reinterprets the stone that built Rome, transforming it into a new vision of the material that inspired classical art and Renaissance architecture. The resulting two elegant designs are full of subtle nuances that evoke the sobriety of classic style.
Â
Sabbia
Sabbia is a modern reinterpretation of Italian Travertine with a vein that flows through the pieces in a colourful and disorderly way, making it ideal for natural or rustic environments.
Marmorio
Marmorio draws inspiration from the quintessential Roman stone, Travertino Navona, known for its porous striped structure that imparts an elegant, bright, and lightweight look to any design.
CEPPO KODE SERIES
The collection reimagines the aesthetic appeal of Ceppo di GrĂ© stone, a favored material in Milanese architecture, to create spaces that encourage and establish a connection with the natural environment. Similar to Vicenza Kode, Ceppo Kode’s design extends to the edges, making it an ideal choice for exposed applications.
Ceppo
The unique blue-grey multiform structure of the Italian Ceppo di Gré stone serves as inspiration for the distinctive colour of Ceppo. Its unmistakable pebbled pattern makes it a perfect choice for indoor and outdoor applications, and its timeless design complements both classic and modern aesthetics.
